PREPOSITIONAL PHRASE




This is explain about “A PREPOSITIONAL PHARASE” :
Prepositional pharase is a preposition and the nown is in the complement position.

Please not that preposition are words such as in, from, to, etc.
Used before a nown or a pronoun to show a palce, a position, time or a method.


The Object Of The Prepositional :
a)    Prepositional  + noun, pronoun, gerund, or clause.
b)    Prepositional  + modifies (s) + pronoun, gerund, or clause.


Example Of Prepositional Pharase :

Ronal    : When is the wedding ?
Windy    : It’s in J    une.
Ronal    : What day ?
Windy    : It’s on  Saturday, the 25th .
Ronal    : I starts at 06:00

The Examples Of  The Most Basic Prepositional Pharase :

•    At Home
At =preposition ; home=noun

•    In time
In=preposition ; time=noun

•    From Richie
From=preposition ; Richie=noun


Most Prepositional Pharases are longer, like these :

•    From my father
From=preposition ; my=modifier ; grandfather=noun

•    Under the warmblanket
Under=preposition ; the warm=modifiers ; blanket= noun

•    In the weedy, overgrown garden
In=preposition ; the weedy, overgrown= modifiers ; garden=noun
