Advertisement is from of communicationused to persuade an audience to take some action with respect to products, ideas, or service. Most commonly, the desired result is to drive consumer behavior with respect to a commercial offering, although political and ideological, advertising is also common.

3.    Paid non-personal communication from an identified sponsor using mass media to persuade influace an audience. (Wells,Burnet,&Moriaty. 1998).
4.    An informative message carried by a non personal medium & paid for by an identified sponsor whose organizationis identified in some way. (Zikmund&D’amico.1999*
